Some jet skier lost control of his jet ski over the weekend at Lake Perris and hit a boat and died. Sorry to hear it but the paper Press Enterprise was not surprised.

That is sad.Alot of the jet ski people don't seem to watch for other people on the water.Don't they have a section for just jet skiers? I don't know I've never been to that lake.
I wonder how many total hours of Jetski operation this person had.

It is always sad to hear of a death on any lake, even if it was a Jetski. Sorry to hear it.

That's terrible, but jet ski/ sea doo people don't seem to pay attention. I was at Perris 2 weeks ago. A few hours after we'd anchored our boat a group of 4 rented sea doos decided to park next to us on the shore line. I had to run into the water and stop them from hitting my anchored boat twice.
I guess no matter how much we know about boating there is always someone out there that doesn't have a clue how dangerous it can be to everyone out on the water.Everyone needs to watch out for everyone.Nobody deserves to lose a life...

RD They really only talked about the jet ski and safety concerning jet skis in particular. Cited stats regarding SB, Riv & SD counties.
