Have to lift the three 2003 2.5's off the transom of a friends Motion to install set back brackets. Does anyone know the bolt/thread size for the lifting eye?
    Thanks

Best way to pull them off would be to tie a 3/8 cabls around middle motor and other end around an utility pole. Stay hooked up and gun the truck. Everything will be fine.

(sorry, I got no info for ya, just giving ya a hard time!) No, I have not defected to the clamp-on world I wish it was my boat, it's nice, even with clamp on's! You know Hoss, since it isn't mine, that might work. Nah, the owner would get pissed. He wants to use the eye bolt!

I would order a lifting eye from a place like Bob's Machine.

There is a menu selection for lifting eyes in the left column.

Stihl makes some very nice products also. Less time but a bit itchy and messy.
