Posting Pics...(AB & Mrs AB) :-)

I used this image as an example so I could get literal step by step instructions typed up for those that desire help posting images
I'll post the step by step instructions once I'm finished posting an image

Go to www.***boat.com
Click on “Image Center” gauge
(log in if need be)
Click “Upload Photos”
Click “Browse”
Click on the image you want to upload
Click “Open”
Click “Upload/Submit”
WAIT (be patient!)
Right Mouse Click on the Image
Click on “Properties”
Highlight URL address should look similar to this:
http:/ /www.hot boat.com/image _ center/data/500/333image123456789.jpg
Copy the URL address
Go to the forum you want to post the image in
Click on “Post a New Topic” or “Reply” (which ever one applies to your needs)
Click on “Image”
Paste the URL information in the little pop up box
Click “OK”
Click on “Add New Topic” or “Post Reply” (which ever one applies to you needs)
And that should be that….Did it work for you????

I think you have to be a PAID member of ***boat.com to be able to upload photo's. Since I'm not I post mine at http://www.hotboatpics.com

You don't have to be a paid member just a registered member in the image center. You must register for the image center before the upload photos link appears. Don't know why but it appears that this registration is different from the forum registration. I just used the same name and password and it worked for me. Should probably add that to your list of instructions. other than that instructions worked perfect.

Your instructions look good, but I couldn't get passed " upload photos" couldn't find it. If your not logged in in the "Image Center" you won't see that button. It will appear in the upper right hand side by the loggin button. For some reason, sometimes you need to log in there as well as in the "Fourms"

I did register for the image center. I even get the welcome thing when I log in but I still don't see the upload button.
Or am I just f$%ckedup?

Damn, you guys are fast. I read the thread & when I came back with a repy you guys had said it all. Guess that's what you get when your a two finger typer.

I went into the Image center. Reregestered with the same name and password, and it came up with do not recognize the password, so I clicked on forgot password, they asked for my e-mail, then it came back with, don't recognize e-mail Man am I screwed up!
