My buddy is renting my folks place in Tahoe Donner for the winter. I suspect he hasn't made his new years plans yet, but if he's not going to be using it at that point, he might be willing to sublett to somebody for that time period.
I'll ping him on it and see what his thinking is on the matter.
Nothing super fancy, but very servicable and a great location.
Can't hurt to ask.
