My son is in the market to buy a small pickup that is in good condition, 50-75K miles, dependable, not abused and reasonably priced. He needs it for work and is going to be spending next week making a decision. If anybody has something that you think might fit the bill you can email me and I will forward it to him. If it is high mileage, beat up or tricked out no thanks.

Thanks for responding Dan....He probably needs a small truck as he will be using it for work and so forth. Gas economy is an issue for him. He will be driving all over LA, Riv and Orange Counties.

I have a Chevrolet for sale. It is a full size, fleet side, single cab, shortbed. It is a 1979 that was completly redone in the spring of 1999. It has a new 350 target motor, with a 700 r4 trans. The gears are 3:73 for highway miles. The new motor, trans, and drivetrain have just over 36k on them. The interior is in great shape and the paint was redone in 1990. The brakes are about a year old also. I have had the truck for about 6 years now and am asking $6,500 obo. I have kept it in nice shape and would be glad to send your son a picture if he's interested.

How about this one? it has an overdrive tranny and gets good mileage. 7k The whole truck has been gone through and just turned 3 thousand miles.It is a blast to drive. Vortec engine, new paint wheels glass seats gages bumpers etc.

Looks like a nice truck but the son is 19 and doesn't need power like that if you know what I mean
