Why aren't they nude
Yep, there really is such a place. We went out to Borrego to dirty up the new Jeep. Some friends came along, too.
Nude Wash is a place where all the soil and such has washed down off the rock leaving some huge boulders and bowls. It is a protected place to camp. The kids can't get away, and it is pretty secluded, but not too far from the road.

Everything went great. We parked for lunch at the wind caves.

We came down the Borrego Wash Dropoff, steep but gravity was on our side. The Slot is a cool narrow mud wash area that fat people can't get through. This trail is over half a mile long and carved 60 or 70 feet deep by the rain and waterflow.

were the heck is that place would like to go there
That place looks cool. Albeit Albeit Albeit it is not a place I would want to be if any rain is predicted in the area.
I was at Powell a few years back and a bunch of people were hikeing in antelope or navaho canyou (cant remember which one) and their was a rain squall miles away. It was sunny all day at Powell but the their was a flash flood from that rain so far away that killed a bunch of them. Sad story
Pretty cool.
Good thing you weren't this guy!
I like how the lights are still on....

At that point the battery terminals are above the water line.
Not to burst bubbles, but i am bettn that is a reflection of the camera flash, notice the Jeep in back with the same thing goin on, no headlights though...
Why dose it matter where the teminals are?
I saw a truck in the channel in Glamis underwater with the lights and the wipers going.
Everything will work so long as the electrical connection has less resistance than water. Will drain battery if left underwater though.
On Memorial Day weekend I took a huge roller over the transom while idling through the now wake zone outside the channel. My batt, was underwater for about 5 min. before I could get enough water pumped out.
If my engine had stalled, I'd have been ****ed
