Ive seen alot of boats that have a bravo3,howard,essex to name a couple. I really dont want 2 props to mess up and would rather have a bravo1.Is it possible/cost effective to swap out a b3 and sell it,and buy a b1 to install. What extra parts would I need?

if you are simply switching from a b3 to a b1 they simply interchange. the transom assemblies are identical. its nothing more than changing the drives.

If you have driven the boat with a BIII, you probably wont like it with a B1 - more bow rise, same top end, higher minimum planing speed & less acceleration are a few things to note. Oh, and possibility of torque steer
Definately cheaper to fix a B1 though. But IMO, its not worth swapping a drive out just incase you hit something down the road.

Change of plan. I just picked up a 25 Eliminator eagle w/a bravo 1. It was more boat than I was looking for,but it was the right deal.
