elsinore by far. every wednesday is wakeboard wednesday. on the water first thing and you are usually the only boat for awhile. makes for some great glass. elsinore is actually cleaner then perris, elsinore just has more algea

Perris all the way!!! Much better scenery. I've run wide open there a number of times, but I'm careful where/when I do it. The rest of the time, I don't mind cruising. The island BBQ areas are very nice there too.

I'd rather drive 2.5 more hours and be in Havasu or Parker just so I don't have to look at the gross green water.

I wouldn't get in the water at either lake. Perris the cops are dicks and at Elsinore the water is green. I have been kicked off of Perris 3x and Elsinore once. Granted all of that was me doing things that I shouldn't have. If I was going to go somewhere for the day, I would probably go to Elsinore and stay out of the water as much as possible.
