Spotted in San Francisco! The new 'Vette sports fenders extended fore and aft that extend into the doors, a la the '63-'67 'Vette. Door-handle cutouts in the rear fenders and a squared-off gas filler door are part of a crisper, sharper profile. Ultra low-profile run-flats on new five-spoke rims and drilled rotors hint at a new performance level.
Expect the new Corvette to be introduced at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show in January, and to arrive in dealer showrooms by next fall.

The vette that slinger built
I would have to see one in person before I make my decision. I liked the existing look of the C5. It looks like Chevrolet tried to copy the look of the Viper on the sides. It also looks from the picture that they changed the back end quite a bit.
