Thread: trim adjustment

    Hello all i have a bravo one late model 91 with estended trim rams and the book gives a trim speck of only 6and a half inches does not specify for my style outdrive if i set it there i will loose 3 inches of trim this doent seem correct can anyone give me some ideas by the way i am trying to adjust it since my trip to lake mead ended by a monsoon that put me in the rocks and now my trim gadge is way outa wack

    Grab her by the hair and hold on to her! Losing "trim" is always a bad thing, especially threee inches of it.

    On the right side of your drive is a adjustment ring. Loosen the screw and set the drive all the way tucked in:
    Adjust the indicator by turning the adjustment forward or backwards to the trimmed in position.
    Now trim the boat all the way in and see where the indicator needle rests. You can play with it and set it where you like to have it. Good Luck
