Yes or no? I have a 496 mag with a Bravo 1. It looks pretty easy to install, should I do it or have someone else do it? If I did do it will it void the warranty? Thanks

What oil is in that Bravo 1?

BD,
Strongly recommend the shower if you're running out here where the water is very warm on a day with an air temp of 115 in the summer. Not only will it cool the upper bearing area but it will keep the top of the outdrive clean. Ran one on my Daytona and swear by them. Most folks out here run them also. With the high temps out here in the summer, it is an easy addition to keep the drive cooler.
I run one, very easy to install, even if everybody says they dont work it cant possibly make the drive run hotter .cheap insurance
I have a new in the box Smirek shower I could sell you for $60.00, half the price of new. I ordered an extra one for a boat I had on order, needless to say, I ended up with a different drive combo, and didn't need the smirek on this one. If you want it, it's here. My shower fits a Bravo or Alpha.

Yes put it on.
Buy it.
Install it.
Forget it.
At what point do you feel a drive shower is necessary? I have an Alpha w/ the 4.3, usually just cruise 'cause the wife doesn't like the go-fast.
