Since 1919, when Southern California's largest and oldest boat parade began, the Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade has drawn millions to view over 100 boats decorated for the holidays as well as the elaboratly decorated homes surrounding the harbor. Both boats and homes compete for trophies and publicity in this magical holiday event.
We will be there with the boat to watch, it's a blast.

Yes it can get very cold out on the water. We just above froze one year and finally had to go down below to kitchen area.
It's always a good time and the boats seem to get more lights on them every year. I will be down there watching either in a boat or at a house. I do not know the exact details yet.

is there a place in Newport that will pick up a 32 foot boat off of a trailer and put it in the water.

You may want to call the Newport Harbor or Balboa Bay Yacht clubs. If there is a place on the bay they would know about it.

We are probably going to head out on the 19th for the parade. Start off with a couple of pitchers of beer and wings at Hooters then get on the boat and head out for some heated refreshments.

Try calling the Lido Drystack in Newport harbor. They definitely have the equipment to do it.
Where is the best place to watch from on the boat? We might be taking our little lavey out for a trip.
Thanks in advance-
Todd
Sounds like fun.................your trailer doesn't get salt water on it and your boat gets in Newport Harbor to see the lights.........a win....win.......situation
