Anyone know a good place to buy wire? Im going to make a custom harness for my JETBOAT, and I want to find 10 or 12 different colors. Any ideas-I prefer something in or around Anaheim Hills- Thats where I work...It would be nice if I could go to one place and get everything I need(terminals, fuse block...)
    Thanks!

Brendella, these guys are in NorCal about 60 miles north of San Francisco, so it's not quite driving distance, but it looks like they will have everything you need.

McFaddendale hardware will also have what you need( Theres one in anaheim). The wire you need is not hard to find, lots of places will have it. If your going to do a harness, make sure you use the correct color for everything and the correct gauge wire. I recently did my harness, its fairly easy, just think everything out before you start.

Well, does the color matter so much? Im going to try and mimic the diagram on liquid addiction.net, provided I can find all of the wire colors... What size wire though?

I used an RV wiring loom. It had 7 wires encased inside a rubber sheath. Check with ant Rv supply house. 7 wires will handle most of the items.

That RV wiring is good stuff.... especially when it's in there with all the other old wiring.
Here's a few pics of my boat before I rewired it. There was no fewer than 3 seperate wiring harnesses in the boat. I bought it like this.

    This is what came out.

Yeah, been there done that! Looks identical to what mine was, although you have me beat on the # of wiring harnesses. Im doing some custom switches/controls, so I think I may need more than the 7 wires, Ill have to take a look at the diagram I am using and see, the RV wires might work,
