    So throw away the torque wrench and just measure stretch?

    That is what is happening when you torque the bolt. Stretching it.
    Stretch is the best method. Remember the torque angle method on the Oliver rods?
    The overseas rods and cranks generally vary a bit on their machine finish work. The material is usually strong enough.

    Info- Were you able to recover a copy of the quad rotor build from Barneys site? I would pay to get a copy of that to use as a reference...

    I am sending everything to RiverDave and his web site Gruru's It will be put in HTML instead of posts. Anyone can us it on their web sites that wants to.
    GoFastRacer saved all of the text and I had the photos. just needs to be put back together.
