What do you think about jet hot coatings on a set of boat headers?

I must agree with Gofast... Jet hot coatings are the best... Even though Bassett and Rewarder both guarantee your chrome headers not to turn blue unless you start the motor!!!!! ...Moneypitt

i did not want to send my headers out of state, so shopped around and found EMBEE coatings in santa ana ca, for 250.00 they guarantee them for life....i ran these for a season, and were i scratched them upon install they peeled a bit down by the exhaust port, i called and spoke with Jeff, told him about the situation....he said" get em' back here"! no questions asked!
for a lifetime guarantee, this coating works for me!!
no hazing no discoloringand polishes with mothers!!!just my pennies on the dollar!!

I checked with Bassett, they will deduct $75. if you order them w/o the chrome plating. My experience with Jet-Hot has been outstanding, good qaulity and great service, but Todd does leave good reason for going with a local vender. As far as my opinion on chrome vs. ceramic, ceramic hands down. I think chrome stinks for headers, I'd rather use VHT spray-paint then chrome, but to each his own.

hay thanks just wanted to know what you thought. I wanted to know if anyone had something bad to say about it. I got a set of boat headers that i am going to send off to have done. I talk to a company called caps coatings in Fresno, they said $300.00 to do it and $45.00 to take the chrome off so that's what I will do.
