GASOLINE QUALITY CA vs AZ ?

For those of us that run pump gas.
1. is it better to fill up tanks in so. cal then tow to river then refill
when needed or leave them empty and fill after you arrive at river
(parker)
2. witch gas (brand) is the best?
3. have heard some say dont buy gas on water,take boat out of water then take into town and get gas.
4. does any of this even matter?

If I don't fill up in so cal how do I get to the river?

can't answer you about socal gas as opposed to river gas but I know the gas in Ca is the aeriated crap during the summer. I've heard from friends that traveled through Az and other states in a motorhome that their MH ran much better and got better gas mileage. I don't know by experience though.
As far as which gas, I like 76 because it doesn't have MTBE in it anymore.
