Define low.
Is anybody aware of any manufacturers(or lenders) that are currently extending very low interest rates on boat loans???
Define low.
I think 0.0% kinda has a ring to it. That's what I paid for my powerstroke. I'm kinda hoping for 1.9%, 2.9%,3.9%....something along those lines(for a 25 to 30 ft performance boat).
there are NO boat builders or lenders loaning that type of rates they are typicaly about 5.5 or 6.9 depending on the amount of money loaned. But you may try to talk to your bank or credit union about it....
I thought someone posted a note here about a week or two ago that they thought recently one of the well known manufacturers ran a limited time special at 2.9% or so. I obviously didn't pay enough attention at the time I read that note. Even if that was true, I'm sure the loan length was limited to 5-7 or fewer years.
Back cover of December's Powerboat Magazine shows Formula Boats at 0% for 18 months, but who knows what happens after that.
There was a builder doing that low rate, but it was for only a short period of time. I think 5 years or less. Maybe Formula.
I got my new boat financed through Bank Of The West in September @ 5.25% for 180 months. I thought that was pretty damn good.
Was that on the new Ultra? I think that, not only does the boat look terrific, that is a very good interest rate. Is that avail to all??

Yes, that rate was on the the new Ultra. But I did not go through Ultra to get my financing. I went through some friends of mine that own a few boat dealerships in So Cal. They got my boat financed for me as favor. They told me that was probably the best rate I could get. I've never heard of anyone else getting any cheaper of a rate.
