I was talking to my 7 year old son on the phone and we had to end the call abruptly due to a call waiting on his end. Ten minutes later he phones me back and says "I forgot to tell you something before we hung up last time." I said "Oh? What's that?" He says "I love you mom." I of course said it back and then he says "K bye." and hangs up!! Awwwww! And LMAO! That's all he called for!
When kids are sweet like that it sure makes the more challenging times seem rather inconsequential.
