I resolved to start lifting weights again, but it is not the first time I've tried to get myself going again...
Did anybody make any? I mean serious ones like : cut down on carbs, or go to the gym, or drink only on weekends. Stuff like that.

my first and foremose resolution was to get out and walk "everyday" but at -30 to -40, how the hell do i do it!!!!
I went and joined the gym yesterday, since I feel that I look like shit....I need the hot boat babes to want me as much as they want Tom Brown....
my goal is to loose 40lbs by May (thats when hubby takes me on a cruise that he surprised me with for x-mas)
40 lbs., wow - good luck!! if your looking for something that tones you fast and lose inches quickly try pilates, they are amazing!!!
I have gained some weight over the holidays, and mine like everyone else's resolution is to lose a little weight. I need to lose about 10-15lbs and tone up. Starting today I am going back to the gym and I started my protein diet on Saturday. Steve's Bday is the first week of March so I have 9 weeks to lose it which should not be a problem. Determination pays off, it has for me in the past. 1 1/2 yrs ago I was a lot heavier than I am know and eating right and going to the gym helped me lose 20lbs. I can do it again and I'll be ready for the river in no time.
I quit drinkin`. The time was right in the beginning of December so I started early. The wagon sucks.:yuk:
HOSS, quiting drinking and living in New Orleans, man that has got to be tough. My hats off to you if you can quit. From your past posts you seem to be a pretty strong willed person. That should help you.
