Heres what I got goin. I want input on what cam I should run.
Dove heads, 219 intake, cleaned up ports , tunnel ram with 2 750's. My compression ratio is about 10 to 10.5 :1. I am rebuilding the pump and puting in new timming gears, (I have the new style now, going back to old). Not a roller and solid lifters. I need springs too. I would love to hit 70. MPH, Now I am at 60 with a tired pump and a stock cam with SCJ heads.

Well Hercules you know my .02 on this one,
Suffice it to say that built the way I suggested, your boat will meet or exceed 70 mph.
Now, let's hear those cam suggestions.

No flame seen on my end.
I have SCJ heads on there now. I am going to change them to DOVE. I am not turning the R's to take advantage of the SCJ heads.
Its a 460, .030 over with stock dish top pistons.
With DOVE heads at 76cc That shold be around 10 to 10.5 :1.
Thats what I was told by a very reliable person.

somewhere around 230-238 duration at .50 .540-560 lift .Fords like split duration type cams ones that have longer exhaust duration than intake to help compensate for the lack of flow on the exhaust side.I ran a 245 at .50 w/near .590 lift on my old boat i think the lobe center was 108 a little to much cam for what i had.

I'm sure Lakes Only has givin you info on Scott J. and his porting techniques for the D0VE heads, he IS the man for porting factory 385 series iron. As to the cam, I'll cast a vote for Comps Xtreme Marine XM278H Hydraulic flat tappet stick, 234/244 @ .050, .574/.576 lift, 112 LSA ground for 110 ICL. That cam or something similar should work well I would think.

In fact, this is the very cam I suggested. And I will be porting the heads to Scott's specs.....you're on top of things, JCR!
