I got rear ended in Barstow on my way to Lake Powell, obviously the brunt of the blow was taken by my Alpha drive. What should I have the boat shop look at extra carefully when the drive is being repaired?

After all is done and finished, make sure you check the engine/outdrive alignment. Even if it's slightly off it could cause problems down the road.

Make sure the transom area isn't broken from the impact (don't know how hard you got hit)

Thanks for the info, the hull seems to be fine the impact broke the skeg off the drive the prop got hit and bent so I'm a little worried about possible internal damage to the drive.
