Anyone check this truck out yet? 5.7 Hemi yields 335hp and 370 ft. lbs. of torque. 9000lb. towing capacity.

A hemi dakota? Yowzaa! Probably plenty of power but that's a lot of towing capacity for a short wheelbase. Could get a little squirrely

Not a Dakota...brand new vehicle, totally different than the old Durango. Three seating rows, wheel base length between a Tahoe and a Suburban! Check out the Dodge website.

I went and looked at them when they first came out.
The hemi has more power and drinks less gas then my 5.9. That was very appealing.
It's extremely ugly and the price tag is outrageous. For all the same options I have in my current Durango plus a hemi and the TV package they want 43k. That is NOT appealing. In 2 years the thing wont be worth half that.
I don't think I'll own another SUV. They just don't hold their value well and brand new they are extremely expensive.
If you got a nice wad to burn and want some real power in an SUV get the Prosche Cayenne TT. If I had rock star money I'd buy one that's for sure.

Is it just me or did they take the mini-van body and stick a hood on the front of it?

Used to like the old one....I don't think this one is going to grow on me....I think they missed the mark...my .02

It looks like they stole the design of it from Toyota's Land Cruiser except for the big-ass front grille - they stole that from...themselves. I actually like it more than the previous body style but I don't like the price!

This one looks nice but I can only guess how painful the price will be...
