Thread: water pressure bypass valve

    Here is what I'm using and I haven't had any problems with it.

    Block pressure is not higher then 25psi at 5800rpm, and water temp is 120-125 degrees. I bought this from Grainger.
    Jake, I believe the wing is for keeping the nose down.

    They are saying it will be ready by the first race in March.
    Between getting all the race motors back togethor ,going to winternationals and getting me and mark off the dyno, well thats alot of work.

    That'll work. I am guessing it flows enough water to keep up with the pressure.
    I built mine with no moving parts.
    I was thinking of a stainless ball/spring with an adjustment for pressure, but decided to try something without any moving parts.

    Note to self 1: boats upside down flyin through the air=major no good.
