Has anyone heard of a "New" Diesel that has just been released with 20 or 30 more HP?
I was at the dealership yesterday and the salesman was talking about a new version with more HP...

just called my friend at Chevy and he said its "TRUE". New Duramax with more horsepower/torque is on the way and they are taking orders already.
He did not have the details, but said he would get them for me.
I told him I could get them from you guy's.. Anyone here work for Chevy?
I got a peek at one last Friday at my GMC dealer. I really didn't have a chance to really check it out. But from a service standpoint, they put the injectors and fuel return lines on the outside of the valve covers and made a few other changes including the elimination of the waste gate. It uses a variable vane system in the turbo. I have yet to take a class on the new setup so don't hold me to any of this. As for running out and getting one, I always say let someone else be the test pilot. There are always a few bugs to be worked out in new designs and I doubt that you want to be the one to put up with all of them.
