Bravo 3 problems

We just bought a new deckboat with a 350 and the bravo 3. Only has 15 hours on it and already broke. Was running it at 3200 rpm and all of a sudden the props stopped spinning. I shut the motor off immediately but now the shifter is stuck in forward and will not go back into nuetral. Anybody have any ideas of what could have happened or has this happened to anyone else??? Thanks.

Yep...sounds broke.
Does it have oil in it?

Hope it had oil in it. It's brand new. We're taking it back to Hipp Marine on Wednesday. It's under warrenty. Just wondering if anybody had ever experienced the same problem.

Hope it had oil in it. It's brand new.Yeah...someone posted here once that the shop forgot to put oil in the drive before they delivered the boat.
Just thought I'd ask- 15 hour failures seem pretty rare.

Quite honestly, that wouldn't surprise me either. Ther were supposed to put in duel batteries and they didn't. They were supposed to put in 16 life vests and they put in 8. And they were supposed to put in an oar and they didn't. So, You might have hit the nail on the head. Thanks.
