Liquid,
Those were taken at Bartlett Lake. It's one of our favorites. We like Apache a lot but as you know, the drive is a bear. Bartlett is about an hour to hour and a half from where we live and they don't get a lot of the bigger boats, although it does get pretty busy. Here's a link to the Marina's pages and there's a map that shows you how to get there. Bartlett Lake's pages (http://www.bartlettlake.com)

We do Lake Pleasant but usually only on weekday nights in the summer. It's got too much big boat traffic on the weekends and no beach to speak of. No picture of that one.
Saguaro, go early. Parking can be a problem. Nice sandy beach up the channel but it's about a 15-20 minute idle.

Canyon, very picturesque, but the smallest of the lakes around Phoenix. Big rock cliffs n such. Another nice sandy beach up the channel. I've only been one time and we got beat to death, but you should still go see it if you get the chance.

Roosevelt is real nice, but it has a wide open beach and the winds off the rim come up quickly. Good sized lake but it can get pretty rough. I've also seen it glass calm though. Lots of room to camp.

Then there's always the river...........................
Thanks for the info
squirt?- SICK avitar!!!! ide sure like to have one of those photos of my boat,....but none of them can keep up!!! LMFAO(shameless lies!)
Thanks, it's a clip I took from a short video. A buddy of mine shot it from his boat (anchored) and everything was cool right until I got up to him, then this mystery swell came up and launched me. Made for a fun video n picture though.
were you on the bottle?
No thank goodness. Could've been disasterous. As I recall I had cut the motor right at the point where I was leaving the water so I might've gotten lucky. I did come out of the water once on the juice and it was scary as hell.
squitr? how long would you use a "BLAST" in a single pass,...on good water? just curious! todd
Typically in a quarter mile run, I'll start out with the system armed and ready but won't actually hit the button until the boat's on plane and the pump's fully loaded. It tends to cavitate out of the hole if I don't wait for that first second or so. After she's on plane, pump's loaded etc. I'll hit the button and hold it for the entire run (I'm not that fast) so probably 15 seconds or so. It's only a little 100 shot so it's pretty forgiving (although I'd probably do the same with a 150 or 200). The motor can handle it and was built with the N20 in mind. Forged pistons, the best bearings I could buy, ARP maincap and rod bolts, rings gapped for nitrous etc.
