Why should I sell my V-drive and get a Jet?

The point is that any boat (Jet or V-Drive) can become real dangerous when power is lost at high speeds!

Your right on Checkmate. That was an aluminum rod engine...
Just pointing out that the Olds small block is a excellent starting point if you are looking to go fast with something different. Especially when a small block (one of the previously mentioned examples) can handle way more power than any big block casting.
