After giving it about 2 days , i said hell with it a went ahead and cut 2 holes for 2vega vegas, kind of heard that they liked big air spaces, so i gave it about 800 watts and the hole front of the boat and to tell you the truth it hits hard the only broblem i have is the inspection hatch vibrates so damn much i have to leave it off. It sounds real good with the cover off. im not a audio pro just giving my 2 cent about subs up front without doing a incloser behind them . by the way if you put any mids on the side panel make sure you flush mount them cause when you open the engine hatch you might hit them . good luck and congrats on the new to you boat (looks nice)

Alright now don't laugh. This thing jams pretty well. I can remove this entire system when we sell the boat and you will not be able to tell it was ever there. The only holes drilled were for the stereo box bracket.
This is where I put everything. Pic before stereo install. Electronics on the left and same sets of speakers in each side.

Can put these speakers wherever we want. Lots of extra monster wire.

Home speakers are 8 ohm so easier on the amps Subs are wired in 8 ohm also a 1 farad cap for each one.
1.0 welding cable running from the batteries.
Froggystyle would barf if he saw it. Just have to listen with your eyes closed

thanks for the suggestions....here's what I've got in there so far....working on 2 10"s that will mount in boxes on the sides up front, but won't stick out past the innerliner, got 'em built already, waterproofing them now (believe it or not home depot carries some roofing paint that is AWESOME-more like applying a rubber coating then paint), then it's off the the upholstry shop. Might have it done this weekend. Where'd you mount the deck? I was thinking about the little side pod on the pass side that looks at the driver, that way the wireless remote would work?????
Back Seat, New Polk Momo series with seperate crossovers, outta sound great!
