Thread: Polishing Aluminum

    Well it was a beautiful day here and it motivated me to work on the boat.
    After a few hours of buffing, my formerly rough finished foot throttle now shines like a thousand suns.
    Unfortunately, I now look like I spent the day in a coal mine and my garage and everything in it is now coated with thick black dust, polishing compound and lint from the buffing wheel. :frown:
    Is there some way to stop this from happening or is it just the price you pay for polishing your own stuff.

    Think that is bad, you should see the inside of a polishing shop.
    Make sure you sweep up and mop too. That dust will track to the inside of your house.
