Very cool. I used to ride with a dude a fews years ago who had his original 1979+/- Husky 250CR. It was pretty clean and a cool old-school bike like this one. Always fun to see the old-school stuff still being used.
Wow, that is a lot of work to put into an old dirt bike. Very cool! So I think the easy way to explain this is tell us what isn't modified on it, The gas tank looks pretty stock anyway, lol.

that Yamaha is bad ASS!!! Used to have a 465 and a 490 and let me tell you the power is just crazy! Wish I still had them.
I restored this one somewhat. Picked it up for $300. 1982 Yamaha IT250. This bike will pull wheelies in every gear. Awesome power for a 250cc.

wish I still had my CR250 sold it not to long ago it needed some work and was taking up room in the garage so I sold it
it was I think a 72 maybe 74 the first year of the mono shock and the kick start was on the left
