wow, very cool.... did you choose to have the controls on the starboard side? Ours are on the other side, not as hard to get use to as I thought it would be. LOVE the yellow bolt across the side panel (by the coolie cup)((those light up at night))
LOVE the blue glass (batmobile) type windshields.
Our boat has not windshield and I am kinda glad, it was a bummer to clean, but you won't have folk bumping into them with sunscreen on like we did in our little Sea Ray (19ft)

Im doing a 3.3L/EFI whipple conversion on a 2003 hard deck 30' Kachina currently with an HP 525EFI. My customer says it runs 68 mph @ 5200 rpm with a 24 bravo. It appears to be the same bottom. It should be up and running again in a few days, I'll let you know how it does.
