There is a fella by the name of Darin over @ Reher Morison....he's in charge of cylinder heads and the induction system...His brother does the bottom-ends.
Him and Joe Mondello have perfected the new wetflow bench which is now in production from Superflow and is offered as an attachment to SF current dry flow benches.
Reher Morison and DART cylinder heads both have this one of kind bench that actually uses a dye that is seen under a black light. It allows them to see the movement of the vortices from the spark plug back over near the exhaust valve and slews of other new discovered information.
They then photograph the results and then study them very closely at large resolution. Incrediable amounts of information was gathered from just the change of a tulip ex.valve to a flat-head style.
If I was betting on an engine builder who may take this research to the bank it would be RM.
If anyone wants I can send them the results of their finds based on this research. According to Darin he's only scratched the surface of what this equipment is allowing them to see with new cylinder head designs.
