Thread: 'Stern Powr' MX-07 Drives??

Bought a 28' Cigarette SS last spring with these MX-07 drives. I have found parts in Marysville, Michigan, but at a very high price. Have searched the web looking for info with no luck. Anybody run or hear any history on these drives? Any problems? How much HP will they handle. I'm running about 400 HP per side right now, might upgrade to 500 - 550 range? I have discussed with my mechanic about switching to Bravos - still very expensive as the transum will have to be glassed back in. Do these drives still have value if I were to sell them?
    Anybody?
    Thanks,

Talk to Randy at Profile in Sumner, IA. He has quite a bit of experience with SternPower stuff. He may also have what you need...

    Thanks guys,
I checked out the site, rbtnt. I think I will call them and pick their brain. I have a little more relief seeing the drives on a newer boat. I had seen the Lancing site and have even e-mailed them in the past, with no reply. They seem to have info on the 101 series. They haven't any specs on the 107 series. I will also try to call Randy at Profile.
    Thanks again,
