Okay, Someone else asked about who owned what boats on a different thread, and it made me feel like I needed to start my own to see if anyone could help me.
6 years ago, I purchased a 1968 Bluewater 17' boat, and I have never seen or known anyone who knows anything about these boats.
I have found out that they were based in Orange CA, but other than that I don't know much more.
    Were they a good boat?
Now that it is running and I put a new floor in it, what is it's value?
Should I just get rid of it?

If you're happy with it, then that's all that matters! I know guys that are all jacked cruising down the lake in their bayliners....there happy as can be!

www.bluewateryacht.com , they make large rivercruisers. They started out in the 50s with small boats!

my dad had a 1967 or 1968 Bluewater 16-foot vee-bottom with a 95 horsepower outboard. had a 17-inch prop to pull skiers with. Pops traded it in on his new 1971 Rogers. He said it cost $2,200 brand new on the trailer and included skies, rope, life vests etc. He bought it in Santa Ana, CA and it was a mass produced hull.
sorry but i dont have any pics to show ya.
