My motor is not done yet but we need to put some HP to the Preach's V-Drive and see if it stays together, lol.......
The Dogs, Spring and lower double bearing went bye bye........
As it was getting pulled apart we found out the drive shaft flange had sheared the key and welded its self to the input shaft, What a biatch to get off, So we did some upgrades .........
You gonna make it on 3/6?????? BBQ???????

How much power does the Southwind motor make? Did you ask what was in the DeMarco before so you know how much power it will take to blow the tail?

Off subject, but...the 460 makes 580HP and pushes the Southwind to 80mph. Set up right, it would probably push the De Marco to about 100.
But I'm not gonna **** with the turn-key Southwind.
The De Marco had a blown alcohol motor at just 1200HP. My first engine will have less HP and be heavier. I will play with motor placement quite a bit this year, which will ballpark the next engine's location.
So it will be the Southwind at CFW in a couple weeks. Can't wait for this (anticipated) rainy week to be over.:yuk:
