I am interested, will wait for some pics
I'm selling a set of Lightning headers with the dry through-transom tailpipe option in case anyone is interested. Price will be very low, probably half of new. S/S jacketed tailpipes are straight and fit standard Bravo openings. They were new in Aug 2002 and have about 97 hours on them. To be honest, they are difficult to seal properly unless your transom openings are exactly lined up and you're careful about cleaning and using good silicone in the joint between the collector and tailpipe. My openings are slightly off and put enough misalignment in the system so that I have had trouble with reversion. Of course I also run a very big cam, so that doesn't help. On a milder motor, it wouldn't be a problem. I just pulled them off today, so I'll clean them up and take some pics to post in the next couple of days. PM or email if interested.
Thanks,
-Brian

To answer a couple questions I've gotten, they are PN 31040407 in the CP Performance catalog. They have not been in salt water and I drain them when I pull the boat out of the water. The finish is the basic black coating on the headers with polished tails. They still look very nice but could use some cleanup. I was using clamp-on mufflers, so the ends of the tailpipes are marked up a little and have small indents where the set screws went. A little time on a polishing wheel would shine them right up.
Here are some photos. The goop on the pipes is the silicone from the transom holes. I also have the polished covers for the rubber hoses (not shown in the photos). After taking the motor out a few times last year, I got tired of screwing with them and left them off.
