I would post this in the tech forums but it kind of belongs in two different forums.
What's the difference between the Rev4 and the Trophy?
Both look to be four blade, round ear, through hub, configurations.

Better to put it here so we can shit on your thread.
Mercury makes a prop called the REV4? I not questioning, just never heard of it.

BTW - my friend with an Allison and a Viper really likes his trophy. That what he runs most of the time on his GS/260 combo.

I believe the prop is actually a Revolution 4. It seems to be intended for stern drives.

I think I'd need to grind it a bit to fit my bowl.

I run the 23" Mercury Revolution 4 on my Shockwave Tremor. This is the prop supplied with the boat. I'm not sure of the difference, but this wheel works great with my setup.

The Merc website states the Rev-4 works well on outboards and stern drives. I also run a 23P Rev-4 and its a great prop. Its a good bow and stern lifting prop. It also has the vent holes that work well on some outboards

Trophy designed mainly for outboards. 13 3/4" diameter and 17 through 28 pitch.
Revolution 4 is for higher hp outboards and sterndrives. 14 5/8" diameter and 19 through 23 pitch.
The Rev 4 has a little more neutral lift, (larger diameter) and works better with engines with a little more torque.
