The last time I went on the Gray Owl hike in Waskesiu, I was in the lead group and stopped to drop down a nice steaming patty square on the center of the trail. It was one of those mushy trail shits.
When we stopped to camp, a guy from the rear group started talking about some fresh droppings they came across and they asked us if we saw any large animals. I told them I saw a few but nothing while I was squatting on the trail, laying down a deuce.
You should have seen the curled up lips around the camp fire...
