Speedy,
I am very pleased with my Donzi and would recommend anyone thinking of purchasing a performance boat to consider Donzi. I boat in the mid Chesapeake Bay in southern Maryland and usually have some chop to deal with, and this boat does exceptionally well. My former boat was a 22 Formula which was a nice boat too except a little small for this area. If your luck is like mine, you will sooner or later end up somewhere a long way from home when it will start blowing a gale. Now, unless the weather gets really bad, I can still run a decent speed and not get beat to death. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that my fuel consumption increased by only about 50% when I went from single 454 to twin 377's.
Dwight,
All I know is that the 377 is 6.2 liters and I think this is the only in-production 6.2, but I may be wrong. I do know there is a higher HP model being developed, but I don't think its available. Go here to see the specs on the 377. If the link doesn't come out right, check the Mercury Marine Sight under Performance Outdrive Combinations. http://www.mercurymarine.com
