Thread: Thanks To STVKeith

    Just wanted to thank Keith for all his input regarding my purchase. I was going to by a used 2500 until talking to him.
    Steve the new rig has the 325hp/600fpt HO in it. I went with the six speed manual, and love it. I don't even feel my boat behind this rig.

    Congrats!
    How would you 6spd drivers characterize the shifting in that tranny? Mine still feels very "notchy" even after 7k miles, and the 2nd-3rd shift is so slow that a Yugo will walk away by the time the truck is back in gear and pulling. Is this normal?

    I'd bet whatever happens and when that it will be a warranty issue.

    That is one thing about where I work, nobody worthy of any back room antics. Besides, they love me. Lifetime tranny warranty.
