BTW I'm going to Lake Piru tomorrow with some friends. Here's a pic of my rig, if you see me stop by and say hi

I had my outdrive serviced a couple weeks ago and the guy mentioned that he adjusted the switch that kills the motor momentarilly when you put it in and out of gear. Well now the boat dies everytime I put it in reverse and I'm heading out to the lake tomorrow. Can you guys tell me where the linkage is that I have to adjust. By the way it's an 87 Merc 350/Alpha 1 combo. Thanks for any advice. I'm heading to a B-day party so I won't be on the boards for a while, but I will check before I leave tomorrow.

The interrupt switch is on the top of the motor where the cables come in. My service manual on how to adjust it is out in Havasu, but I know there are websites that tell you how. Let me check through some of my favorites, and I will post a link.
