I want to build a sub box myself. Does anyone have any input for a sealed box for a 12" sub. I want to have it fire down. The spec sheet says .75 to 1.50 cubic feet.
Do you put any filler inside or is it just empty.

If your running down fire, Make sure its ported! I ran one in my truck (alpine Type R 10inch0 in a 1.00 cuFt box, sounded like SH*&. Plus it was not very loud! I then added the required ported volume to 1.25 cuft and put a 3 inch Diameter by 10 icnh long port out the side of the box, and Man, it was 3 times as loud! It hit actually pretty hard. I use WINISD for calculating port size and Diamerter for the Hz I want!
