    i almost did one of those in the ship channel out of stockton.missed it by a foot.the blinking lights dont cycle fast enough at night.the are on for about 20 seconds then off for 20 seconds.if you are doing 80 mph or so you are covering a lot of water while it is off.i dont run 80 mph at night anymore.
