have a tall block 427, that i was running a 671 with dual 750 mechanical pumpers, and basset over transem large diameter pipes, combination worked fine. I had a faulty cam shaft, therefore rebuilt engine, added a super chiller under a 871, as well as Imco powerflow exhaust. Have an extreme overheating problem, does any one have any ideas? Presently running a camdriven river rat pump, to the block, using a cupped water pick up for superchiller, no pump

What about intake or head gaskets. Could they possibly be reversed and blocking a water passage?

LR, Do you have aluminum AN fittings that feed the water to the block. If so, remove them and check for corrosion (blockage). Remember to "Always" drain the water from the block after using it on the lake. Mike
