i used the auto drains on the outsides and a pump in the center works ok for me tim
So what does everyone have for a bilge pump setup when you have 3 areas to pump out? I know the obvious is 3 pumps and 3 dumps, has anybody come up with a single pump dealio with 3 pickups, or 3 pumps tee'd into one dump with check valves of some sort?

Well crud, ended up buying 3 pumps and 3 dumps. I didn't have a lot of freeboard, and now there's another 200 lbs. on the back, so better safe than sorry I guess.
In a 19 Daytona I ran two in the gunnels that dumped into the center and then one in the center that dumped overboard.
You know I never thought of something as simple as that, couldn't see the forest through the trees so to speak.
thats the ticket. two pumps into the center and then one pump out.
2 small pumps on the sides and one 1000gph or bigger in the center.

3 pumps, 3 dumps here I like it that way. I also keep a spare pump/hose and battery hook up under the deck...if needed!

i think hp350 was refering to the whipple he added
Yeah I was talking about the Whipple and steering etc. being 200 lbs.
I have decided to run the 3 pumps and 3 dumps, was just looking to cut down on the number of dumps. That makes 6 now. Not a huge issue, just more crap to order and drill.
I just bought a 25 Daytona it has 3 bilge pumps. Reason being is if you take water over the bow with floor drains it drains into the sponsons which are seperate from the bilge pumps. Sounds like a lot of work and responsibility for 1 pump. Pumps are cheap BOATS are not.
