CD, did you leave your drive stock or did you do some upgrades?
Just thought I'D let everyone know got my boat back from Whipple industries, pu 18-20 mph jumped up from 22p bravo to 28p bravo possible 30p lab finished.Boat planes much better,midrange accerleration night & day differance.Idle & Drievability unchanged.Hope this helps anyone who's undecided between procharger & Whipple.

I Left the drive Stock for now.But I Know its just a matter of time before I'm forced to upgrade.I think as long as I dont abuse it will last.
Whats the top speed now?
Four people 90 gallons fuel 78mph
cd 78 is a nice number but a conquest only goes 58mph with a 496 thats not to impressive.

That is a impressive gain, but what was the boat running before. I run a Procharger on a 496HO and picked 15mph, from 63mph to 78mph apples for apples on a Carrera deck boat. I run all day 10mph faster than before and had it on now for over a year. So I guess I'm still undecided!

your right boatfloating.i was i was thinking if he picked up 20mph and is doing 78.58 is not to impressive.i think the 90 gallons of gas was hurting his mph a little.
Dustin had the boat at 80.1 g.p.s light fuel 2 people. He told me I need a 30p lab finished prop. My boat crusised 65/70 at 4000r.p.m.,depending on load and fuel. Boatfloating are you running the 3.5 or 5.0 p.s.i kit what prop are You using, just curious,also what the weight on that 257.
