Maybe promise to wear a condom while boating?Or you could offer to get a vasectomy if she allows you to get a boat (is that a fair trade for you)? It's not like she'd be taking your sack and you would have a boat.

Find a boat, that you want, (that you think she will like) pick colors that you think she will like, get the biggest motor package you can, buy it, pick it up, bring it home, park it in front of the house, when she walks out of the house with a confused look on her face, exclaim " Look what I did!!"

buck up just buy it and bring it home.........joking tell her the facts it is the best family fun investment you can buy...after your first season of boating all 3 kids will be working part time jobs to pay for the repairs and gas and that my friend makes for a happy productive family

River kids are usually good kids, it just works out that way.
