I was planning on making that the river debut of the new motor in the Spectra, but that ended up being nixxed after I had confirmed it late last year.
I guess there is always the fall deal... if the motor is done by then.

On the wait list at Havasu Dunes, #8 as of a couple days ago and praying
Otherwise it's gonna be the trek from willow valley to the lake
I'm going...my sleeping quarters include my new tent and girlfriend(s) (I reserve the right to make this plural at anytime) on the lake, just south of Thompson Bay. Great spot- but I can't tell you exactly.
4Speednup- you taking the boat? If not of the havasu dunes-bring a tent!
Jackpunx--grab your tent too! ($15 for the weekend)
PS- I love the Havasu Dunes, always had great experiences there.

Myself and Up4River will be there watching. I am sure we will have a boat load of people and ice chest full of beer.

Hopefully I'll be picking up the boat to bring back here and fix, then sell. Gonna start over with Chevy power.
$15 huh, is there a # to call for reservations?
Let The Camping Begin!!! Ill Bring the Keg!!
No reservations needed..first Come first serve--its self pay too I'm too honest not to pay, and lets face, $15 for the weekend, thats probably what most of these ballers spend on their room service 2 egg and hashbrown breakfast each morning
There are so many camp sites on the east side of the river, about 1 mile from Thompson Bay. Doghouse recommended our site..and a good recommendation it was. Our boat was behind in its own little cove- protected from the big waves.
As for an alarm clock--how about the "weedwakers" heading out to fish at 6am. I never thought I would like that sound, but waking up, walking to waters edge, grabbing some breakfast, sitting there watching the sun rise....you get the idea
Roln 20s <---may officially be starting a camping Posse for Heatwave
