Overpriced and Underpowered 22 footer (http://www.***boat.com/forums/showth...threadid=43013)
He went to the show and is now looking into the Advantage 22. I know they make an outstanding boat but the price is what is bugging me. $52K for a 22 with a 350 mag and a bravo 1. Seems a little step. Am I wrong here?
Is Advantage one of the manufactures that include the swim step as part of total footage?
What other manufactures would you guys suggest that are in that range?

sounds like boat show gouging to me. a buddy of mine stopped buy advantage boats in havasu today. i wonder what prices they where quoting him on the 25 footer?
My 1998 22 Citation is For Sale. 454 Mag MPI with all the good stuff on it. Runs great if he is considering used. I stepped up and need to move it. Info on BoatTrader.com
Tell him to get the Lavey 21'. I think its the best bang for the buck in its size range and comes with more power for the same price. It is actually 22'6" to 23' including the step. Does Advantage include the step?
OL
Advantage does not include the step in the total length, 22' 4" plus the step, another 14 or 16 inches at least.
He got horsed.
Hope he has some Depends to absorb the bleeding.
CA Stu
I would suggest he look for a boat that is nearly new with more power if he has a limited budget.
Bang for the buck = KACHINA
Thanks for the link and posts. I agree he is getting bent
