Thread: Off the shelf blower pistons for a 440

    Anyone know of any sides the trw's that are just low comp and way down in the bore.

    Any style piston with stock wrist pin height will net you 8.8-9.0. 440s had shit for compression in the non HP motors.

    I ordered a set of blower pistons for my 440 they are custom Ross pistons that sit about .175" in the hole. You can buy the TRW's or spend the money and get the wright ones. They only took a few week to make them. I hate building a motor and then putting a hole in one of the pistons. frown
